Full Job Description

Red River's client urgently requires an experienced procurement professional for the position of Senior Buyer on a 12 month fixed term contract based at Gatwick Airport.

We are looking for someone who can undertake a broad range of work ranging from minor PO buying up to EU Threshold tenders. You will be involved mainly in the purchase of services, i.e. office services such as cleaning, security, maintenance etc and consultancy to assist the company, however there is no specialist area.

Security clearance will be required.

Qualifications, skills & experience:

* Five year's procurement experience.
* Ideally CIPS qualified, or working towards.
* Public sector experience is an advantage.
* Experience of using EU Procurement Directives is an advantage.

Salary range £24,525 to £30,657 depending on experience/qualifications + 28 days annual leave.
